Add chopped lauki,shrimps,turmeric,red chilli powder,cumin powder,salt and sugar to taste.If the lauki is tender,it can be cooked directly.Otherwise steam or pressure cook 1 whistle only.Then cook.Lauki should be soft but not mushy.The preparation should be totally dry.If needed sprinkle little water while cooking.Add chopped coriander and toss.Garnish with green and dry red chilli and serve with rice.For vegetarian,green peas can be substituted for shrimps..
